I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude for your constant support and understanding.

In 2012, the Company will celebrate its 60th anniversary. The Company has been engaged in the businesses of recycling and environmental protection since its foundation. Amid the recent trend of a growing interest in resources and the environment, our businesses have been facing increasing expectations and demands, and I think our role in society has also been expanding.

With the incorporation of Asahi Holdings, Inc. on April 1, 2009, Asahi Pretech Group has made a new start. With respect to the businesses and the operating bases cultivated over half a century, Asahi Pretech Corp. has succeeded to the precious metal recycling business, and Japan Waste Corporation has succeeded to the environmental protection business. Under the new business structure above, the Group will strive to sustain growth and maintain stable earnings by increasing transparency of our management, and creating and providing higher-quality services.

At the same time, the Group will adhere to the management philosophy of “social contribution, enterprise continuity, and respect for human dignity/capability” and achieve improvements in the total corporate value from the medium and long term perspectives through enhanced contributions to the global environment and the society.

I would like to sincerely ask for your continued guidance and encouragement.
