Asahi Pretec acquired "Nearly ZEB" certification at Sapporo Office - Accelerating EV utilization and energy saving at Office toward the realization of decarbonized society -
Asahi Pretec Corp. (President: Hiroyuki Nakanishi) has achieved energy saving of 75% or more at Sapporo Office, currently under construction, as part of efforts toward the realization of a decarbonized society, and obtained the third-party certification of "Nearly ZEB" defined by Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS).
At the Sapporo Office, we have achieved both comfort and energy saving by promoting the utilization of renewable energy through introducing solar power generation and power storage devices, as well as utilizing lighting / air conditioning control systems, heat insulating building materials and glass. Moreover, we will newly adopt EV (electric vehicle) to reduce CO2 emissions and use EVs as an emergency power supply in the event of a disaster, which will be utilized for disaster recovery in the region.
Asahi Pretec will expand this initiative throughout the country and develop the company's own buildings, which will be newly built in the future, with energy saving that exceeds the "ZEB Ready" standard stipulated by BELS, in addition to promoting the introduction of EVs nationwide.
