1950-
1952 Asahi Chemical Laboratory founded.
Began recovery of silver from photographic fixing solutions.
1960-
1964 Incorporated as a limited company.
1968 Kobe Plant constructed in Higashi-Nada-Ku, Kobe.
Started supply of silver to Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.
1969 Started electrolytic silver recovery operations using in-house developed technology.
1970-
1971 Contracted to join Fuji Photo Film's photo treatment and environmental protection program.
1973 Industrial waste disposal license obtained from Kobe City authorities.
1974 Fukuoka Office opened, thereafter followed by offices and plants throughout the country.
1975 Plata, in-house developed electrolytic silver recovery equipment, enters production.
1978 Head Office building completed in Higashi-Nada-Ku, Kobe.
Certified environmental measurement license obtained.
1980-
1981 Objective management and internal proposal system introduced.
1982 Entered dental-related business (recycling of precious metals from dental clinics and laboratories).
1983 Silver brand registered on the London Metal Exchange (LME).
1986 Started precious metal recycling from electronic components and related materials, and jewelry industries.
1988 Started manufacture and sales of chemicals for plating.
1990-
1991 Bon Ange Co., Ltd., jewelry sales company established.
1992 Obtained specially controlled waste disposal license from Kobe City authorities.
1994 Asahi G&S SDN. BHD. established (Malaysian subsidiary)
1997 Five subsidiaries and affiliates merged to become Asahi Pretec Corporation.
1998 Headquarters moved to Sannomiya, Kobe.
Technical Research Center opened. Palladium brand registered with London Platinum and Palladium Market (LPPM).
1999 Stock made available to public on over-the-counter market.
Technical Research Center obtained ISO9001 certification.
Became full member of Japan Gold Metal Association.

2000 Technical Research Center obtained ISO14001 certification.
Silver brand registered with London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). Platinum brand registered with LPPM.
